The cruiser in the above picture is now finnished,commisioned and sits on the water in wroxham with its new owners!!

Due to the popularity and intrest in this model we have decided to build one for the hire fleet,new 2011.Full pictures and layout can be found on the website under 2 berths,swan reflection.

During the week we now have time to make our own fibre glass boat moulds which we then fit out in various styles,some go in the hire fleet some are private builds built to the buyers individual needs.

We have three different models we can produce ourselves 24,26 and 33 shadow boats which we have now been building for 14 years.Still a popular model,selling well.

We also buy in moulding of various styles and shapes which we then fit out in different layouts and styles.

The picture you see is a part moulded shadow 26 hull.Once all the components have been made we will assemble them and then start on the fit out.More pictures to follow.

Easter week  has been very busy, in fact the busiest yet with 95%  of available weeks booked.

Bookings are continuing to come in at a frantic pace, leaving many of the more popular boats now booked for the season.Still a few weeks left all through the year,so if you are thinking about a , broads boating holiday,then book quickly for the last of the availability.

Welcome to our first ever blogg!!

Swancraft would like to thank all the customers who have been boating with us in the past,newbies and old hands many of which have become regular vistitors time after time.

Over the last few years norfolk broads boating holidays have seen a dip in popularity for many different reasons.With the high percentage of return customers and the steady flow of regular bookings coming from different booking sources last season was one of our busiest for a long time.The advance bookings for the 2010 season looks extremely good with several boats nearly sold out.

Swancraft will continue to invest in new craft like we have in in the past with a brand new boat entering the fleet this season,Swan radiance.Built by ourselves using a alpha mould ensures that it will be typical suited to norfolk broads boating holidays.Following on from the popular Swan rapture,roamer layout,we have re-designed the saloon to accomodate a further two people if needed,sleeping on a pull out settee bed.We are waiting on a new design for 2011 before we decide excatly what we build for next year.

As well as new builds we continually update the older hire boats to keep up the high standards our customers demand.This year both Swan Rhapsody and Swan Rapide have new electric flush toilets in place of the standard pump type toilets found on many other hire boats.A continual programme of winter maintenance keeps the hire fleet looking fresh every season.

The cleaners have started on the interiors which means the start of the season is not far away!
